As I mentioned in my July newsletter (subscribe on the sidebar if you haven’t already folks…), I spent the weekend in New York City, talking to publishers about my book.
I won’t get into too much detail about meetings and such — too early for that — but I will say things feel positive. Or at least I feel positive.
After talking to people about my work, I know I belong. I know I bring something to the table and someone will find that valuable. Feels like an intention is manifesting. And man, there’s nothing like that feeling…
Just now I thumbed through my intention journal (you have one too, right?)
"I am an extremely successful writer who makes at least XXX per year and deeply touches people’s lives in a positive way with my words."
I wrote those words over a year ago. They felt true then. And even more true now.
Below is a picture of the Flatiron building where I had a meeting. Years ago, I bought a print of this historic building in Central Park. It hung on my walls in various apartments for years. Stepping into the building the other day felt like stepping into a deep desire that’s been simmering within me for years.
We’ll see how everything unfolds, but there is nothing so cool as the feeling of anticipation.
But remember — in order to have that wonderful feeling of anticipation, you always need to have some you’re anticipating — you have to have the dream!
Ya got one, right?
P.S. — If you’ve never visited New York City, you should. There is simply no place like it on earth. Plus, after your visit, you’ll be so appreciative to be back home!
