I’m guessing I’ll hear it from my wife for posting this picture of us.
It’s just a goofy shot.
But that was the point.
Sitting in a hotel lobby, I began to laugh out loud.
No reason. Just as a goof.
Karin started to laugh at my fake laughter.
Her laugh made me start laughing for real.
I held out my camera and snapped the picture of the two of us.
A fun little moment. A funny little photo.
We went on to spend the day doing some great work with a high-paying client of ours. Work that was engaging, meaningful, and fun.
Sometimes in the busyness of our lives, in the striving to be somewhere we’re not, we forget the real point of it all.
Fun.
The real point of it all, the real measure of success, is fun.
Just remember, you can choose to have fun in any moment.
And when you do, just like that, you become truly successful.
It’s a great picture!!!
thanks Joël! It’s goofy, but it does make me laugh at the memory of it!
You goofballs make my day!!!
