We would rope up and scale the peak from the rock face on the right At the bottom of the climb, massive white rocks that fell from above. A whole different sort of climb. To the left is my my new friend and guide, Jeff... Big. White. Rocks.
View from the bottom. This is where the rock slide met the rock face. Jeff asked, "Do you want to give it a try?"

What was I going to say? Up we go, Jeff first... Perspective shot from the rock face. Not much footing.
Locked in. Perspective shot. Jeff takes a drink.
Long way down. Reward, looking SE. Made it.
Jeff points north to Rutland, VT. To the east is NY state. Caught the sun behind this cairn at the top. The top of the mountain has a trail -- part of the Appalachian Trail -- hundreds of white rock cairns all around. Really cool.
