It begins. Signing in. Still autumn at the base. Lovely sun, low 40s. I dig me some moss Dead pond.
Landscape before incline. Sun shines, all smiles. Matt hits the abandoned ranger cabin. Ranger had to do quite a hike each day to man the fire tower on top. We are just starting the real climbing.
Trail marker with foreshadowing. White stuff greets us on the ascent. Up.
Sun and snow are with us. Happy dudes. We did not expect this.
Winter wonderland. Trail is the little stream.
