So that’s it for another year.
Holidays are over (but I still gotta take the tree down).
New Year’s begun.
Back at the desk.
Plugging in again.
Trying to connect back to this blog, to offer a thought or two that you might find of value.
At the very least, I’ll post an inspiring photo (do not know the photographer) that my friend Tom Stone sent me.
I’ve spent the last two weeks unplugging and recharging. (Yes, you can unplug and recharge at the same time!)
I allowed myself to stay away from my computer much of the time.
I allowed myself to follow what felt best in the moment. I spent time with family. I skied. I worked out. I wrote.
I’ve been allowing my tank to refill in preparation for the year ahead. In doing so, I noticed how unplugging can bring up so many feelings of discomfort. (“I should be doing something productive, right?”) But in the bigger picture, turning on the cruise control for a couple weeks has been delightful.
It fact, I believe unplugging on a regular basis is essential to being your best.
So my tank is full again. I’m plugged in again.
And the world is a place of possibilities once more.
Rock it out in 2010!
love the photo! just made me smile big.
happy new year to you and Karin!
Welcome back!
It’s going to be a great year.
Drew –
It’s great to have you back. And thanks for the unplug message. I had a great holiday, but could have unplugged even more, I think. Alas!
Big hugs,
Christina

I read the subject line as “Plunging In” and it was perfect for how I feel as I enter the new year. Love how the Universe does that. 🙂
Amazing photo.
