Here are some of the pictures from my recents travels to Steamboat Springs, Co., Santa Fe, NM, and Taos, NM.
Hell, a couple might even be fridge-worthy 🙂
A great trip!
Check out the snow on these trees at Steamboat! Looks like they had a snow gun on them, but no, it’s all natural! You can imagine how great the skiing was.
The ridgeline at Taos. Over 12,000 feet. We had to hike up here, and let me tell you, it was an adventure getting down. Adrenaline city. Much steeper than it appears here. Look closely, about halfway along the ridgeline and you see me behind another skier. Photo by my brother Ned.
Steamboat before the first run of the day. Nice, eh?
Another bluebird day at Taos. Some super fun, super fast crusiers. Nobody on the slopes, either. Oh, that’s my brother Ned, by the way!
Snow on the roof at Steamboat to give you some perspective. Carved in the snow, it says "Thank You, Steamboat" with a smiley face.
On the drive to New Mexico… In Colorado. The Rockies were my companion on the entire drive.
Just thought this tree is on Canyon Road in Santa Fe was cool looking/well lit.
On the hike up to the ridge at Taos. See trail to the right.
Absolutely fridge worthy. Isn’t it fun to document our lives with blogs and pictures? Very cool indeed.
Hi Fernando —
thanks for the kudos.
you got me thinking here… after starting a blog, i suppose i am a bit more conscious in some ways — as in “that would make a great picture” or “oh, i should write about that…”
while 95% of my thoughts remain in my head rather than on this blog, it is a stimulating, creative endeavor. makes me feel just a tad more alive?
anyway, thanks for your thoughts and do you have a blog?
best,
d
What a beautiful adventure!
You got a very cool life Drew!
enjoy,
Leah
I do have a blog, just a personal spot to organize my thoughts for now. My intention is to share my thoughts with the others. I also have thousands of pictures, mostly of our family trips. At the end of the day all we have are memories within ourselves and memories we leave behind.
Thanks.
