“Take Action!”
No, not just Action…
Take ACTION!
Take MASSIVELY MASSIVE ACTION NOW, DAMMIT!
After all, you’ve got to take actions to MAKE THINGS HAPPEN, right?
Of course you do!!!
Only a lazy-ass-couch-potato-eatin’-no-goal-havin’-loser-of-a-failure would dismiss the power and necessity of ACTION!
Can I get a HOO-RAH from ya?
Great! Super! Now get out there and start making it all happen!
Make phone calls! Run ten miles! Mail your list! Check off your to-dos! Run another ten miles and do a hundred squat thrusts. No cheating!
Plan! And then ACT!
Then Plan and ACT some more.
Do this today.
And then tomorrow.
And then every day for the rest of your life!
At some point – damned if I know when – you just might feel a sliver of satisfaction.
I would not go so far to say you’ll be happy…
Nah. You’ll be too busy for that.
But from time to time, you will have fleeting moments of satisfaction.
WOO-HOO! Celebrate, baby!
Fleet-ing mo-ments! Fleet-ing mo-ments!
High fives, all the way around!
I ask you… Who needs peace and freedom when you’re TAKING MASSIVE ACTION?
You will be ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS. Or not.
At the very least you can look in the mirror and tell yourself you’re trying really, really hard.
But please note that this will probably make you feel even more frustrated…
Because you can never sate the appetite of the ACTION MONSTER.
He keeps coming after you. Day and night. Night and day.
‘Cuz deep down, you know you’re not really DOING ENOUGH. You could have done more.
What’s wrong with you, anyway?
You’re either a closer or a loser. Coffee is for closers.
So how do you escape the constant fear, the striving, the total discomfort?
Double down, baby!
Resolve yourself to taking MORE MASSIVE ACTION!
Surely this will somehow lead you to feeling better (your true desire).
Right?
Right?
Um, yeah. Sure.
Or you could learn to chill the fuck out and allow your desires to come to you with ease.
Either way, really…
I am going to chill my f’n way to greater levels of success. Every other approach bores me.
