I don’t know if you’ve heard, but there’s going to be an election in 3 days here in the United States.
I believe that this event will mark the beginning of an era of change in this country and in the world. I believe that we’ll take a step towards hope, away from fear. Of course, not everyone will be on board with this change — change always meets with resistance. But I think we’ve reached a tipping point where more people are ready to expand. The risk of staying in the known is greater than risk of the uncertainty of change.
Cool.
Life is good. And always getting better. If that’s what you want. And choose.

From my deck. On a clear day, you can see forever.
Clear days ahead.
It’s so beautiful in your neck of the woods.
I’ve summed up in one word my description for each presidential candidate. Obama = optimism; McCain = pessimism. Time for a change!
hi Mary Ann —
thanks… i do find it quite beautiful here. it always feels like home, anyway…
as for the election, one more day!
i got two robocalls this week…
1) “there’s something barack obama doesn’t want you to know…” apparently, he’s going to come to my house and steal my guns, according the voice on the phone
2) i was asked to put my support behind elizabeth dole because the “liberals are trying to take over the state of north carolina”
um…. but i live in new york and cannot vote for NC senators as far as i know… solid strategy… 🙂
I agree Drew, I can “feel” the shift and sense the tipping point. And it is really cool to see my kids, ages 20,21,28, being an integral part of this change. The stark contrasts between the two campaigns only serve to illuminate this movement from fear to hope, from devisiveness to unity, from negativity to positive real change.
I live on the NC coast near the SC border, and yes I am receiving daily robo-calls that have increasingly become more vicious. But it is interesting to see how the positive energy if it remains constant has become a catalyst that that like oil and water, cannot coexist.
There’s a change a comin…
“Be the change you wish to see in the world”.
Very cool my friend.
thanks for your thoughts, Monty — good stuff.
2 more messages to vote for Dole today… hmmmmn…
one more day.
