So I spent my Saturday night in my basement.
I hung sheets all over the place.
I played with the contractor lighting I bought earlier in the day at Home Depot.
I searched the Interweb for tips on how to create better looking videos on the cheap.
And the result of these hours was this promo video for my Conscious Conversations community. These calls have been really enjoyable/valuable for me and the rest of the folks who’ve joined the conversation.
I love creating and being part of a community — especially sharing time with friends who share my passion for creating an attractive, very cool life. If you have the same passion (or even a growing curiosity), I encourage you to check us out.
Without further adieu, here’s my inner Spielberg coming out…
Thank you both for a really interesting chat. I enjoyed listening to you both tease out attraction issues and am looking forward to future conversations. It was great to have some old ideas reinforced as well as some new food for thought. – FionaJust a note to say thanks for "instigating" Conscious Conversations. The hours I spend on the phone with you both bring such joy to my life. I just re-listened to our past conversations on what has been a bum day for me, and though I am just about to drift off to sleep the call resurrected my day to the extent that I physically feel happier. The words of wisdom, ways of thinking and perspective you both offer adds quality points to who I am and the way I function in the world. – Andi

Drew,
Cool video, I am sure this took some work. I look forward to some more videos in the future.
Brian
Hi Drew
Love to know about the video research. As you know I’ve been playing around with it too, and would love to get your insights.
How are things going with the VCLN? You’ve got communities everywhere!
Zoe
Hi Brian —

i remember your video, many moons ago. long before YouTube and such — it was an inspiration!

Zoe!
going to play with the videos for a bit, do some tweaking. right now i have my digital camera, a tripod, lighting (essential), a blue screen ($15 worth of fabric), and some sheets hung around in my basement. i edit it on the imovie with a free plugin.
i should create a whole post on it.
as for the groups, they are all really great. i feel blessed to be a part of them all. great people, great conversations! stay up late and join us 🙂

Hi Drew
Thanks for the tips.
I went to go an dread up on the C2 calls but the links above only lead to the Drewsletter subscription page. Can you re-direct me please?
cheers
Zoe
Zoe:
does dread up mean sign up?
if so, are you saying the “register here” link below the audio sample does not work? works on my end… so i am trying to figure out what i am missing.
please help!
and i hope dread up means sign up 🙂
d
Hi Drew
The typo was meant to say ‘and read up’ about it – I was looking for the original post that tells me dates and times etc.
Thanks!
Zoe
p.s. there is never any ‘dread’ when it comes to you!
oh, got it, Zoe!
i suppose i should have been able to figure that out! but i thought it might be aussie-talk i wasn’t familiar with!
somehow, the page disappeared!
see my “cursed” post! 🙂
but thanks to the miracle that is google and caching, i was able to find the page and repair it…
please let me know if you have any more problems!
warmest,
d
